A clever play on words of their name, the label "Most Want3d" actually came from the client's surname "Wan." A good friend of mine, the client needed a clean and freshened DJ logo that would represent their EDM sounds.
The client's original logo was put together through Microsoft Paint or Word, and it was a Comic Sans logo in red, the best aesthetics anyone can ask for.
I knew I wanted to play with the letters "M" and "W" because they were reflections of each other, which gave me a lot of creative potential. I tried different things before deciding on sticking to the rectangular bars to represent sound bars.
It was not until I polished the "MW" logo that I realized I had such a big opportunity to depict the origin of the name "Most Want3d" in the logo itself. That's right, instead of leaving a normal gap in between "M" and "W", I hid the silhouette of the number "1" as a play on the last name "Wan" and the client's catchphrase of "The Wan and Only."
Now Most Want3d is working on expanding their visuals onto different social platforms, such as Soundcloud and Instagram. There is also talk about the release of an eventual merch, that would represent a shirt that rivals the iconic "Off White".
